Snackeez Review – To Buy or Not to Buy?

By John

snackeez-reviews

So I just finished seeing yet another infomercial, so I thought I’d give my thoughts on this simple and maybe awesome idea.

There are so many Snackeez reviews that will have you more confused than anything as they are all mixed.

Some love it, while others don’t care for it.

To be fair, I decided to give my opinion from a parent’s point of view and another from my kids as well.

I think having both sides give their take on this product, it will ultimately give you the best opinion on whether or not you should invest in something so affordable as Snackeez.

I have actually seen this infomercial many times but it didn’t dawn on me that I should do a review until I saw it drop on the floor from someone at church.

Yup, we go to church and you should too.

After the cup fell, I knew that it was Snackeez and it also brought to mind the many reviews claiming that it ins’t a durable product.

That fall was all it took to get me to writing this post, so let’s dig a little deeper to see if this is a great buy or something you should pass on.

Snackeez Review

Product: Snackeez

Color: Varies

Price: $9.99 + S&H

Cheapest Place to Buy: Amazon.com

Overall Rating2.5/5 stars

The Price

I would say that this is not worth $9.99 + the shipping and handling. However, anything below $10 is almost impossible not to buy, even if the product was complete garbage.

With an affordable price and something to get your curiosity going, this is something that I believe is a “I need to try this for myself” type of product.

So for under $20, you can get an as seen on TV product, which is not always easy to come across, especially with stuff like the Nuwave and whatnot.

Specs

The Snackeez cup is actually pretty big so don’t think you’re going to be getting fed like some kind of bird.

They do have the Snackeez Jr, which is a lot better for kids and offers different characters like Sponge Bob, which is actually playing in the background as I am writing this review.

  • 16 oz. drink cup
  • 4 oz. snack cup
  • Flip top lid

Pros & Cons

Pros:

  • Affordable
  • convenient

Cons:

  • Kind of pricey
  • Can be a task to clean
  • Too big in my opinion
  • Not the strongest material
  • Way too many complaints

Snackeez Complaints

I’ve heard people say that “The cup is cheaply made”, which means that if a kid can break this, then that will actually make this dangerous.

Someone said that “It’s like trying to drink milkshake out of the straw”.

Who wants to struggle just to drink juice?

One complaint is that the “Juice spills into the snack compartment”.

That right there is enough for me not to recommend this product to anyone but I’m not because I’ve actually tried it and it doesn’t.

Maybe if you break it then maybe it will leak but it does not.

Final Opinion of Snackeez

This is a cup for crying out loud, not some type of electronic device that can have issues.

So this is really something you can make a decision on by yourself and you wont’ be kicking yourself on the behind for making a bad purchase and you won’t be disappointed if it doesn’t live up to the hype.

It is nothing more than a cup that allows you to store your little snacks and that’s about it.

It is great for cereal and some little cracker type snacks, but I don’t suggest putting something other than finger foods.

To Buy or Not to Buy?

You’re better off buying a drink and putting it into your favorite cup, then getting your snacks and eating that from the packaging it came in.

But that’s for us adults.

For kids, I think they’ll love it so get it for your kid or as a gift as I’m sure you have a hydroflask or something for your personal carry.

With the many different characters to choose from, I think it’s worth the $10.

Not a bad deal and you can bet that they’ll be coming up with a new one as soon as another cartoon comes out.

So what do you think…an As Seen on TV success or another flop?

  1. My children used a cup similar to this when they were younger except the snack area was at the bottom in a twistable cup. This design is much better because the snack is easier to gain access to. The colors I am sure would be very appealing to a child. My children loved ALL of their sippy cups. Very nice review!

  2. Love it. Just this morning I had the pain of trying to locate all the things my daughter manages to teleport and then hide in the house. this is definitely the type of thing I need, to at least keep some of her stuff together. now I just need to dummy-cord it to her belt or something

    • Dummy-cord, hahahaha. Reminds me of when I was in the Army and how privates had to tie everything down to themselves. I might just do that with my kids too! lol.
