Just throw your food and spices in and start cooking.
What’s even better is that it is also supposed to be extremely easy to clean.
It’s one of those things that sounds like it’s making more promises than it can keep, right?
Wrong.
It’s a really great product, and today we will be taking a close look at why that is!

Product Overview
Yet another As Seen on TV product, the Square Copper Pan Pro is a non-stick pan that can be used to fry, bake, steam, roast, and whatever else you can think of.
It is designed to replace a lot of your cookware and is supposed to be extremely durable.
Who This is For
My honest opinion is that this is a really good pan for pretty much anyone that spends a lot of time in the kitchen. It’s versatile enough to be an asset for pretty much any conceivable cooking job, which means you don’t even have to be a gourmets to appreciate it.
I bought one for my mom about two years ago, and she uses it most days for anything from scrambled eggs to chili. She loved it so much that this year she bought me one, and I have since found about as much use for it.
It sounds disingenuous to say that this product is right for everyone, but for what it is worth I really can’t imagine anyone not finding something to appreciate about it.
How it Works
The Square Copper Pan works pretty much the same way that any other pan you have ever owned does, with one key exception: You don’t need to use any oil, butter, or cook spray at all to use it.
Why?
It is built with an innovative 5 layer design with a triple coated ceramic surface that allows your food to get very hot very fast without burning it to the non-stick surface.
Pretty cool, right?
Oils and butters just aren’t good for you, so its nice that this pan has a built in way to make your cooking a little bit more healthy.
Now, of course, if you are sautéing vegetables, you may still want to throw in some butter for taste, but the point is that you don’t have to.
Similarly, you will still probably need to bust out the canola oil if you are going to get any proper frying done.
Healthiness aside, it is also designed to be used in both the oven and the stove which makes it an extremely versatile option for meal prep.
While this certainly is not the first pan in the world to be able to do that, it would also definitely be fair to say that it is a fairly unique feature, so it really is nice to see here.
It’s also super easy to clean by the way and they aren’t joking when they say that this is a non-stick pan.
Is This Pan Durable?
While I would definitely say that for the most part this pan is durable, you do need to be careful with what tools you use with it.
This is true of any non-stick pan actually, but it seems to be particularly true here.
I love almost everything about this pan but the coating, which is what makes it special and it will scratch off pretty fast if you aren’t careful.
What does being careful look like?
Well that’s the thing—it’s really not very hard.
You just need to make sure that you aren’t using metal cookware such as spoons, spatulas, tongs, etc.
For me this really wasn’t a big deal at all because I don’t use metal cooking utensils to begin with, but I definitely can understand the perspective of someone that doesn’t want to buy new utensils just to use this pan.
It is also worth noting that you may need to be careful when you use some of the accessories that come with the pan itself.
Most notably, the frying basket has sharp edges that could potentially damage its coating.
I won’t lie, this is definitely a drag but through regular, appropriate use of your pan you really shouldn’t encounter any problems.
The Price
The technical sticker price of this pan is $50, and that doesn’t include shipping or handling.
You can get it from their website for that price, or you can go on Amazon and possibly avoid the cost of shipping.
I’ll tell you this though: it’s usually available for a lot less.
I know that I only paid $30 for it when I purchased it for my mom, and I believe she paid the same when she purchased it for me.
Granted, you can’t count on getting a discount, but my bet is that if you keep your eyes peeled and don’t mind waiting a little bit you might be able to find one.

Sometimes you can even get those cool gloves but they come with an extra cost.

Do take good care of it as it is a bit on the sensitive side.
Remember that there is no need for heavy scrubbing, so let the pan do its job and give it a simple clean like you never used it in the first place.
Before You Buy
Fragile coating aside, it’s a really great pan. If you do decide to buy, just remember that you might end up getting a better deal if you decide to shop through Amazon.
To Buy or Not to Buy:
That is the question, isn’t it? I’ll tell you this if you are in need of a good pan you really should give this one a try. I’m saying this as a person that uses and love the Square Copper Pan Pro. If you are anything like me, you are probably going to find that this pan is going to become one of your favorites.
